About this webinar

You will hear about new research on adult learning and literacy in Ireland and the link between literacy and inequality. You will also hear about using literacy friendly approaches in communities from a community development drugs project. You will hear from:

  • National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA) who support adults to improve their reading, writing, everyday maths and digital literacy. NALA also support organisations to use and promote a literacy friendly approach.
  • Pavee Point Traveller and Roma Centre who take a community development approach to address Traveller and Roma issues including education, housing, health, and addiction.
