Literacy Opens Doors: Free NALA training webinar series November 2026
This November, National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA) is hosting a free four-part webinar series Literacy Opens Doors for people working in the community and voluntary sector.
The webinar series will explore different aspects of adult literacy, from literacy and learning for work to supporting adults with dyslexia.

Webinar 1: Learning for work – Friday 6 November, 10.00am – 11.00am
At this webinar you will hear about two projects who support adults to build their confidence and skills for work. You will hear about the literacy friendly approaches they use and the importance of making adults feel safe and comfortable in groups.

Webinar 2: Supporting adults with dyslexia – Friday 13 November, 10.00am – 11.00am
At this webinar you will hear about how adults experience dyslexia. You will also learn tips and tools from Dyslexia Ireland to better support dyslexic adults you work with.

At this webinar you will hear from our plain English trainer Seán Driver about how to create plain English leaflets and posters for your groups and programmes.
