A micro-credential is a short course that leads to a qualification. These kinds of courses can be a great way back into education for adult literacy learners.

We said that micro-credentials work best when they are

• Flexible
• Accessible
• Relevant

We also made the case for a validation process which would allow new micro-credentials to be developed quickly, keeping up with learners’ needs.
