National Forum for Adult Literacy Tutors

National Tutors' Forum web

This event has now finished. You can also join us for our Tutors’ Forum webinar series running from 7 – 9 February.

Strategies and ideas to enhance the learners’ experience.

Our National Tutors’ Forum is back and we are looking forward to seeing you.

We will have three speakers in the morning looking at topics such as voter registration, barriers when moving from adult literacy to further and higher education and critical adult education in a time of change.

There will also be a choice of ten workshops on topics including learners’ stories and why they matter, taking away the fear of technology and sourcing, adapting and preparing authentic ESOL learning materials. Each tutor can attend two workshops on the day.

You can view the full list of speakers and workshops in our National Tutors’ Forum Programme and please select 1 Morning and 1 Afternoon workshop below when you are registering.

Cost: There is no fee for attending this conference. Please register below.

Note: The Ashling Hotel is across the river from Heuston station. There is a small car park at the hotel, but it is often full. NALA can’t cover the parking costs for participants. The ‘Museum’ LUAS stop is a two minute walk from the hotel.
