We are delighted to invite our members to NALA’s 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM).

It is taking place at 11am on Tuesday 28 May 2024 at the Richmond Event and Education Centre, No.1 North Brunswick Street, Dublin 7, D07 TH76.

On the day we will also be launching our ‘2024 – 2030 Strategic Plan’ that will guide our work.  The AGM and Strategic Plan launch will be followed by a light lunch.

Everything you need to know about our AGM is below.

Nominations to the Board

NALA has received eligible nomination forms from the following ten individuals to be elected or re-elected to Officer and Director positions on the Board:

  1. Candidate – Margaret Kelly, Position – Chairperson
  2. Candidate – Aoife Foley, Position – Director
  3. Candidate – Chris Potts, Position – Director
  4. Candidate – Dr. Eleanor Neff, Position – Director
  5. Candidate – Elma Teahan, Position – Director
  6. Candidate – Margaret Hanrahan, Position – Director
  7. Candidate – Dr. Michelle O’Driscoll, Position – Director
  8. Candidate – Patricia (Trish) Nolan, Position – Director
  9. Candidate – Tadgh Quill-Manley, Position – Director

You will be asked to approve these appointments at our AGM but there will be no election process. This is because there:

Each candidate will be asked to introduce themselves at our AGM and to say why they wanted to be re-elected or elected. In the meantime, you can find further information about all candidates in our Additional Notes for Members document.
