Are you an adult literacy student interested in finding out more about how to vote and politics in Ireland?

Join us for ‘The importance of your vote’ on Saturday 28 September at the Hotel Riu Plaza The Gresham, Dublin from 9.30 am to 1pm.

This is a free event for students 18 years or over who are currently improving their reading, writing, maths, or digital skills.

At this event you will:

• hear from a student who campaigned in the 1990s to get pictures of politicians on the voting papers;
• take part in a workshop by Dublin Adult Learning Centre (DALC) about how to vote; and
• hear from an expert about politics in Ireland, plus there will be a questions and answers session.
