This webinar is now complete and can be watched below.

Join us for the next webinar in our Building Literacy Equality Series, Wellbeing as a Practice of Collective Care. We are delighted to welcome Lou Mycroft to this reflective practice space.

This webinar will be hosted on the Zoom platform and we really want to hear your thoughts and ideas about the practice of collective care. With this in mind we plan to limit this webinar to 30 attendees. Please register using the form below and we will email you with details of how to join the webinar one day in advance.

Lou is a winner of the Edufuturists 2020 Staff Wellbeing Champion Award. She brings a flavour of the idea of the Thinking Environment to this webinar where we will pause to reflect at a busy time of year. Lou explores how, in public service, conventional approaches to ‘Wellbeing’ shift responsibility to the individual. We will also discuss how building grassroots communities can contribute to the building of literacy equality through practices of collective love and collective care.

Lou is a co-founder of the #JoyFE movement in English Further Education and is involved in professional learning initiatives nationally and internationally. She recently submitted her PhD research: the creation of a community education imaginary based on the values of care and love.
