Watch: VOICES at the Dublin Book Festival

December 14, 2020

The National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA) were delighted to present VOICES at the recent Dublin Book Festival. NALA Policy Officer Helen Ryan joined RTÉ broadcaster Rick O’Shea and author Carlo Gébler in the beautiful surrounds of the National Library of Ireland to speak about VOICES and the origin of the New Island Open Door Series for emerging readers.

The event also featured readings from VOICES by Dermot Bolger and Emily Hourican, kindly recorded by An Post.

NALA would like to say a huge thank you to the Dublin Book Festival, the National Library of Ireland, New Island, Patricia Scanlan and all the authors involved in VOICES.

VOICES is available now to borrow from your local library or you can buy a copy in your local bookshop or online from New Island below.
