Plans for NALA’s 45^th Annual General Meeting (AGM)

NALA is preparing for our Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will take place in person only:

Date: Tuesday 26 May 2026

Location: An Post, The Exo Building, Point Square, North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, D01 W5Y2

The proposed plan for the day is:

10:30 am      Registration and refreshments

11:00 am      Workshop to discuss literacy in Ireland

1:00 pm        Lunch

2:00 pm        AGM

4:00 pm        Finish

You are welcome to attend the whole day or just the AGM.

Steps for nominating Directors to be elected to NALA’s Board

The Board provides essential leadership to NALA. It makes sure that our vision, mission and values are promoted, advanced and achieved.

This year we have openings for

• The Chairperson
• The Vice-Chairperson
• Honorary Treasurer
• 2 Directors

If you believe ‘literacy is a human right’ and want to see it realised, please consider nominating yourself or another member to these openings.

To do this please:

• Refer to the Information for Nominations to the Board of NALA which provides further information about the Board and how to make a nomination
• Complete the relevant Nomination form(s) from the list below or download all the nomination forms

Officer – Chairperson – Download Chairperson Nomination Form (Blue form)

Officer – Vice Chairperson – Download Vice-Chairperson Nomination Form (Purple form)

Officer – Honorary Treasurer – Download Honorary Treasurer Nomination Form (Red form)

2 Director positions – Download Director Nomination Form (Green form)
