NALA is recruiting a Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL) Officer

The National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA) is recruiting a Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL) Officer.

The TEL Officer will play an important role in supporting NALA to lead innovation in the teaching and learning of adult literacy, numeracy and basic digital skills. This is a key objective in NALA’s new three-year strategic plan.

The TEL Officer will help us to identify, develop and implement appropriate technological solutions that will support innovative teaching and learning practices.
This exciting new opportunity will involve the creation of programmes and supports, including self-directed, peer, blended, distance and e-Learning resources to help people with literacy and numeracy needs to use everyday technology and digital media.

It will also involve the management and development of NALA’s existing e-learning platform and online teaching and learning resources.

The TEL Officer is a new role in NALA and the ideal candidate will have a professional qualification in an IT/e-learning / a digital communications related discipline or equivalent training and experience.
